Multi-Channel Inputs

Tiger 320 series multi-channel input configuration and digital inputs

Technical Documentation › Multi-Channel Inputs

The Tiger 320 Series controller supports up to four analog input signals with up to 13 digital inputs, depending on configuration options selected.

Flexible Input Processing

The controller can be configured to display up to four different calibrated scaled ranges from a single input, or up to four individual inputs displayed independently across channels.

The Tiger controller can produce a result from math performed between two inputs via channel 1 and channel 2, selected from a dual, triple, or quad input module.

Sensor Inputs

Temperature inputs are always routed through channel 1. The input module range includes single, dual, triple, quad, and smart input modules. Smart modules feature on-board digital signal processors that handle processing tasks, freeing the controller for advanced automation functions.

Available sensor input types include thermocouples, DC voltage/current, 4–20 mA combinations, and more.

Multi-Scaled Display Options

A single calibrated input signal on channel 1 can be displayed across different scaled ranges on channels 2, 3, and 4 simultaneously.

Digital Status Inputs

Status pins (LOCK, HOLD, TEST, CAPTURE) connect to the COMMON pin and support various digital input functions configured through Code 9 programming or via setpoint control. Additional digital inputs are available on selected input modules.

Code 9 Function Options

  • Display test modes
  • Counter resets
  • Tare operations
  • Setpoint unlatching
