Input Signal Module

Process Loop, 4-20mA Texmate's widely popular IP01 4-20mA and IP02 (with 24V excitation) input module have been improved! We have added special input protection circuitry that can withstand up to 50VDC connection and overcurrents up to 40mA. In addition, the zero offset and span adjustment circuit was improved to get more consistent range adjustments. Both zero offset (handles the 4mA end) and span (handles the 20mA end) can each be adjusted from 100% signal to 0% signal in ten steps (five in the high range, five in the low range). Zero offset can also be positive or negative. This allows the meter to display nearly any engineering unit range over the 4-20mA signal span!
The IP02 must be the last device in the loop because the IP02's 24VDC loop supply and the IP02's sense resistor share the loop supply return (ground) internally.
